My name is Hayley Brierley-Roberts and I am a freelance proofreading and editing consultant. With years of writing and editing experience, I am a trained and qualified editor with a keen eye for detail and a professional approach. I offer two services: Proofreading, and Copy Editing. While my Proofreading service provides documents with a light edit, my Copy Editing service is an in-depth, deep edit, which is recommended for larger projects, such as books, dissertations etc.
In addition, I am also a writer of fiction and happy to complete ghost writing assignments in certain areas.

Fees
My fees differ between the two services I provide. As Proofreading is considered to be a light edit, I charge 0.0064p per word for this service, or approximately £3.20 per page (a page having approximately 500 words).
The Copy Editing service is charged at 0.0079p per word, or £3.95 per page, due to being much more thorough and detailed.
The Organisation for Proofreaders and Editors recommend a charge of approximately £0.01 per word. From this guideline, it is clear to see that I offer competitive rates and excellent value for money.
