Summary:
I am, ISTQB certified (foundation level), system test engineer (software tester). For last four years I work as as Test Engineer (sinc 2007 also Test Manager) for one of the largest telecommunication companies in the world - Nokia Siemens Networks.
My works goal is to help in creating the highest quality software it is possible.
In my day work I:
- design test cases,
- perform functional and integration tests for C++ and Java applications,
- run stress and load campaigns for server side applications, and
- run automated GUI tests for Windows, client side, applications.
I have experience in working on various operating system, starting from Windows (beginning 2000 until 2003 Advanced Server) up to UNIX Solaris 8, 9 and 10.
I also have experience with Windows MS Cluster Services and database engines (object oriented Versant and SQL DBs).
In my testers work I have been participating in the software development project from the very beginning (analysis phase) until the very end (maintenance phase) focusing not only on Quality Assurance but also on improving tested application by proposing additional functionality.
After my daywork is finished I work as a freelance tester/software developer. I specialize on C# applications development, with MySQL or FirebirdSQL databases, but I also can work C/C++ (including MFC and STL).
