I was born in
1979, in
Buenos Aires, Argentina. I got my official degree
as a Translator of technical, scientific and literary texts on December 2003 at
Wall Street Institute A-1370 (Degree Nº 0071473, Buenos
Aires, Argentina) and successfully developed my career as a
freelancer.
I have
worked in translation projects on Healthcare, Medicine, Pharmaceutics,
Technical Manuals, and IT Software. My most remarkable experience is mentioned
below.
In
the last seven months I translated more than 90,000 words in the field of
Technical Manuals and IT/Software. During that time, I also translated more
than 60,000 words translated in IT/ Software Localization for world's leading
document management technology and services enterprise. In January, 2007, I finished a
280,000 words translation project on Oncology called The EPEC-O Project. That
assignment took me six months since I had to deal with terminology consistency,
file formats, graphics and slides edition as well as the subtitles of a DVD.
In the
beginning of 2006, I worked as an in-house translator for Akorbi and took part
in several projects on Health Care, Marketing, Advertising, Education and
Cosmetics.
In 2005, I translated,
transcribed and wrote reports on more than 30 videotapes on Medicine. In
addition, I have worked on smaller projects in other fields such as Arts,
Technology, Tourism, Gardening, Economics, Law, Marketing and Gambling. I also
proofread translations on Social work, and Health Care.
I am
looking forward to hearing from you soon.
