Summary: I am a published author, journalist with experience in hard news, feature writing and novel writing. I spent 5 years as a judge in a national writers group, judging contestants for the best book, writing, category, etc., of the year. This group is nationally known and the RITA awards always make the news. Was founder and president of one of the Romance Writers of American Chapters, also, their national judge and President of their Outreach Chapter for my area, whereby unpublished authors are paired with published authors for mentoring. I have mentored dozens of unpublished authors, who later became published. I have sold three books and one was optioned for a movie.
