- Clinical Trial Protocols and Amendments: more than 250,000 words translated for different pharmaceutical companies. The translated documents have been presented before Chile's Public Health Authority as part of the application process to begin the corresponding drug trials.
- Informed Consent Forms: more than 50,000 words translated for different pharmaceutical companies.
- Healthcare: around 30,000 words translated and edited for a well-known website. Software used: Trados suite.
- Education: around 15,000 words translated from different material for the Hispanic population in American schools.
EXPERIENCE (MAIN)
- Medicine/mental health: Ongoing English to Spanish translations for Eurordis since Sept. 2006; ongoing translation of papers for a group of mental health specialists since late 2004.
- Pharmaceuticals: Ongoing English to Spanish translation of different types of texts for an international pharmaceutical company since early 2005.
- Economics/journalism: 1 year as full-time in-house translator at an online business news provider, in the banking and insurance areas.
