I am an energetic writer with extensive experience in education. I taught middle school, high school, alternative school & college in 2 states & advised 4 states in curriculum & professional development.
I have a Master's degree in English and minored in Education.
I have published in Scholastic magazine & worked for Kaplan Educational Services. I'm familiar with various state exams.
I also have extensive travel experience, which I can incorporate into my writing. I've been to 6 continents & have written for Conde Nast Traveler & The Miami Herald.
Teaching in inner cities (New York and Miami) has given me incredible insight into the school system, including various learning styles and test methods.
I was also the youngest female to be in an administrative position for YMCA Day Camps.
