Radio Boutiki offers full-service radio/audio production for small and medium markets. Chief bottle washer is Bobbie West, a 20+ year, multi-faceted media professional. As a radio personality Bobbie spent 10 great years on the air with 8 of those years in commercial production; 2 years as production assistant at K101 FM, SF and serving as Production Director at both Magic 106 in Santa Barbara, CA and Viacom's Double99 FM in San Francisco before moving to acquire and operate a niche, independent radio commercial production studio; writing & producing radio spots for local clients running on SF and Bay Area stations for almost 5 years before participating in a technology-based radio start-up.

Radio Boutiki offers copywriting assistance and script doctoring,
multi-voice recording, as well as audio track editing and sweetening for audio projects. Clients include small to medium radio advertisers and stations, Internet-based advertisers wanting sell copy and different forms of audio response on their Web site. We also offer professional voice and copy for phone IVR systems, on-hold messages, audio books, podcasts...

Equipment:
The on site studio will suffice for most projects and it sports our favorite professional recording and production equipment; Sennheiser MD421II Dynamic Cardioid mics, networked digital work stations, a Behringer XENYX 1204FX Mixer. The software of choice is Sony's Sound Forge with an Antex 4-track Pro Studio sound card. We provide a world of canned music and sound effects but we also offer effective custom music created by our in-house, professional musician. Any file format can be duplicated and delivered via our own private, secure network.

Philosophy:

"Audio is very powerful communication medium. Using emotional appeal in the script combined with and the right type of delivery, audio engages the mind like no other in that the listener must invent the "pictures" to complete the thought and the self will usually use imagery which most benefits the self. This kind of personal participation gives the message a deeper connection. Repetition of the message breeds familiarity and retention which is helpful to overcome marketplace noise and consumer resistance. It is very rewarding for us here at Boutiki when the production works to get the right kind of consumer attention and leaves a favorable impression with the general audience".
