I work closely with my clients, or at a distance, if they prefer. Editors know I am maintenance-free. They can give me an assignment and know it will be done with flair, and on time.
Clients might give me specific keywords or keyword phrases (pertinent to their industry and web site) and subject material; I turn out their articles, their blogs, or their news releases.
I am comfortable with most styles of writing except for highly technical pieces; I will not accept an assignment that is out of my comfort zone. In other words, I won't fake it. But you will find, I have no problem writing on most subjects.
One of my primary strengths is in research; I was a top hard news reporter. My other writing strength is in teaching with humour.
