Areas Of Profession:
During and after obtaining my degree in Computer
Science I have worked as a Web Developer in both large and small
companies. This had given me exposure to both agile and formal
development processes, working by myself and working in large teams
and the role of IT in all aspects of business. My final year project
at University was to build and test a search engine that implemented
tf-idf and PageRank as measures of relevancy. Having studied much
into Google I have a good understanding of the principles of SEO and
data mining. Furthermore, I host my own personal websites on a LAMP
web server. I therefore have a good understanding of networks and
distributed systems and certain aspects of security such as ARP
spoofing / Packet Sniffing, Digest Access Authentication, Rainbow
Tables and Malicious Code Injection.
