Florida Authoress is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by freelance writer Angela Ivanovskiy.
Angela has worked in various administrative offices over the span of 10 years, including construction, spa, medical, non-profit and collegiate. During those years she generated reports, graphs and charts; performed research; maintained records; created spreadsheets, documents and PowerPoint® presentations; prepared meetings and trainings; and wrote, proofread and edited reports, newsletter articles, flyers, website content, brochures, programs and directories.
In 2007 she was the project administrator and a Microsoft® technology trainer for the National Center for Small Business Information at Florida Institute of Technology, where she trained business professionals in Microsoft® Outlook®, Word, Excel® and PowerPoint® in addition to performing administrative, payroll and budgeting tasks.
In 2006 Angela earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida©, where she graduated with honors and as a member of three honor societies. She majored in anthropology and minored in mass communications.
While attending St. Petersburg College prior to USF™, Angela entered the school's writing contest and won second place for her poetry and third place for her short story fiction. Having followed the creative writing curriculum she also had the opportunity to write her first novella, which consisted of short stories and corresponding poetry.
