Skills & Experience: More than 15 years experience in newspaper and magazine journalism. I am a qualified (NCTJ) journalist and hold an MA (with distinction) in journalism.
I currently operate my own journalism/PR business from a fully equipped home office and work as a part-time academic tutor in journalism and media law at a local university.
I have worked for a variety of public and private sector organisations including local authorities, Business Link, the Countryside Agency, New Deal for Communities, Govt Office and undertake assignments on a sub contract basis for a number of PR agencies.

All types of journalism - from business to consumer articles and features, web content/editing, case studies, company profiles, awards brochures/publications, company newsletters and magazines.
I also undertake PR - from event organisation to news releases, PR strategies etc (rates differ from journalism except for straight forward news releases.
I have undertaken a variety of editing projects in the past including website content, brochures, magazines etc. I have a working knowledge of a wide range of business sectors including health and safety, construction, offshore, business finance, manufacturing, training and recruitment etc.
