Education: BSc (HTS) Electr. Eng. (1966) + several additional courses in the fields of electrical & mechanical engineering, patent practice & law (NL/EPC/PCT), documentation & lit. searching, economics & marketing.

Currently, I am a senior patent professional having more than 30 years experience in patent drafting and prosecution within several companies in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, ICT, manufacturing techniques, military applications, plastics, surface treatment, process engineering, automotive, medical engineering, biotechnical engineering, textile, avionics etc.

In those 30+ years I drafted and filed many hundreds of patent applications in Dutch (NL) as well as in English (EP/PCT). Moreover as an Äuthorized Employee"(EP/PCT) I dealt with the prosecution of those patent applications incl. Office Actions etc.

Professional memberships: Dutch Association for Patent Information (WON), Licensing Executive Society (LES), VNO/NCW Committee on Patents and the Internet.

On a freelance basis I counselled several SME/SMB clients and/or drafted patent applications for them. Moreover, I translated several technical documents, especially (EP/PCT) patent applications, from English/German/French into Dutch, for some international translation agencies.
