Typically I get a payment webpage that is already designed. You would have to go into the html of this page and use javascript to validate the input fields on the form, then write a java servlet to accept the form post (validating the fields again), then the servlet would post information to a payment processor (the code is already complete for this), then the servlet would record the transaction in a mysql database (the database is already designed - but in some cases I would need you to design new databases) and the servlet would send an email (code example already complete) then finally show the user an approval page.

What level of experience do you have? Do you have any experience with PERL? We are a strictly Linux environment. I would be giving you access to a development server where you would put your completed and tested work, then myself or my IT person would deploy your code to the production server.

This is an opportunity for ongoing work if things go well.
