Consideration must be given to:

• Management functionality (memory, processes etc.)

3. Describe the principal differences (hardware and software) between peer-to-peer and server based networks, stating the benefits and drawbacks of each.
4. Suggest an appropriate network configuration (topology, network model, protocol, operating system(s)) to be used in the following scenario:
A multimedia development company has its premises on two floors of an office block.
There are 20 PCs on each floor. Staff must be able to access all monochrome laser and colour inkjet printers on their own floor. There is also a Colour laser printer on one floor, which must be accessible to everyone within the company. Shared data storage areas are required as projects are typically undertaken by small teams. The large size of files produced should also be taken into account.

All members of staff may also require internet access. Evaluate suitable high-capacity
Internet connections, and state a suitable choice.
